My journey to creating CribsArena started from a place of personal struggle. When I moved to a new location, what should have been an exciting transition quickly became a frustrating ordeal. It took me nearly three months to find a suitable house to rent. Along the way, I experienced the pains that millions of Nigerians face every day—fake agents, unverified listings, wasted money, and endless stress.
I wasn’t alone. I saw how countless people, especially in cities like Lagos, were victims of fraudulent agents, paying for houses that didn’t exist, or being shown properties that never matched their needs. The real estate process was broken, leaving people vulnerable and hopeless.
In 2024, I received an idea from God—a vision to create a platform that would change this narrative. That vision became CribsArena: a space where renters, landlords, and agents could connect in real time, safely and transparently.
